Beef Salmon Eye
Cut from the silverside, the salmon eye is said to be similar in shape to a fish’s body. Although taken from the rump of the cow, it’s certainly not a roasting joint many are familiar with.
Thinly sliced into quick cooking steaks that are great cooked over a BBQ, or as a whole joint which creates a delicious and juicy roast (allow 25 minutes per lb, and rest well).
Portion size - allow approximately 200g raw meat per person
